Pups are priced once they have been born and eyes are open, generally around 3-4 weeks. Our tri pups average $1500-$2500 and merles $2000-$3500. Blue eyed pups and females will generally run on the higher end of the price range. These are estimated and average prices only. Pups are evaluated individually based off sex, eye color, coat markings, etc
Deposits $350
All pups are priced for pet only. Breeding rights are available upon further discussion to approved small breeder programs. All pups will have limited ASDR registration papers. We will submit application for registration once proof has been received from your vet of spay/neuter and the application fee has been paid. You may choose the registered name for your pup but it will begin with Kickapoo Creek. We complete all registration paperwork now due to many prior issues with forms and paperwork not being completed and filled out correctly.
Breeding pairs have all been health tested for genetic defects via Paw Prints and copies of testing are available on our Information page. All pups will have 1 yr health guarantee. If any genetic issues should arise, we would need to be notified immediately and would need written documentation from your vet.
We do not breed for color only. We cannot guarantee eye color either or size at maturity and can only give estimated height/weight. I understand many look at buying based off color which is fine but that is not something we can control so please be open to other options and don’t limit yourself because we can’t control what the next litter will bring either. It is best to have a pup with a great temperament and disposition than just a pretty color.
Please also keep in mind we have no control over litter size. So when you place a deposit there is no guarantee of a pup out of our current litter. Depending on what you are looking for, it can take 6 mos or longer to place a puppy from our deposit list. We do reserve the right to hold a puppy back from any given litter for evaluation for our program and will always try our best to be up front and make our intentions known after birth if there is interest in a particular litter or pup. Picks on pups will begin no sooner than 3-4 weeks and will go in order of deposits received.
WE DO NOT REMOVE TAILS OR DEWS. This will be a permanent change. There will be no exceptions. We had been allowing deposit holders to dock tails if requested after birth but will no longer be docking for any reason.
We will no longer be allowing on site visits or pickups unless we have a secured deposit. We understand that this may be an issue with some especially with all the scams with breeders these days. We are happy to address or answer any questions or concerns that anyone has. Buying a new pup can be stressful at times and we want everyone to feel comfortable in bringing their new pup home. We also have to make decisions to protect our babies and our household. With visits, these usually take place prior to first shots meaning pups have zero protection. Having people constantly in/out of our house drastically increases the chance of something being brought into our home and exposing our pups to disease or illness. We also want to make sure that our pups and children remain safe and limiting access to our home and address feels necessary at this time. We have had questionable experiences in the past and hope that everyone can understand and respect the need for our children to feel safe inside their own home . We are happy to provide additional video of pups or parents upon request. We are happy to FaceTime or video chat with anyone wanting to see where are puppies are raised and feel comfortable and confident in where your pup is coming from.
We will have a scheduled pickup date for pups. This information will be posted online and on our Facebook page with dates and available time slots. We will no longer be accepting pickups at random requests from each family. We have full time jobs, children in school and sports and cannot reasonably accommodate each person. If we have 10-12 pups then we would be preparing pickup dates/times on 10-12 different days which is not feasible. If you have placed a deposit then we have made everyone aware of what that pickup date will be. You will need to make sure and arrange to be available on that date. Please do not plan for family vacation or whatnot when you know you are supposed to be picking up your pup and expect us to rearrange our schedules to accommodate that. If you absolutely cannot make the pickup date work then please let us know up front when placing your deposit. There will be a daily fee of $10 for keeping pups past 8 weeks. We have very limited free time as a family. Most of our weeks and months are filled with puppies and dog duties. We plan for vacations and family time in these short windows between litters so keeping a pup past 8 weeks can be a great inconvenience for us. Please contact is directly with any questions.
